Welcome to Cactusflower! My name is Louisa, and I'm a hybrid designer-videographer with a passion for thoughtful design in brand storytelling and authentic communication.
My upbringing was split between Norway and the Western United States, and since completing an MA in Journalism in Edinburgh in 2013, I've called the UK home. I currently live in beautiful Winchester together with my husband and our sweet old cat, Frida (she’s almost 19!). I consider myself something of a 'third culture kid', and my minimal and mindful style has been influenced by the places I've lived and the talented people I've had the privilege to learn from.
I know firsthand that running a business is not always a straight line. With so much advice and “fear of missing out” doing the rounds, it can be easy to get in the way of our own success. Now more than ever, I believe it's important to listen to our intuition and consider how we want our work to make an impact in our increasingly unpredictable world.
